fishbelly doesn’t just sell its lingerie in the Hackesche Höfe, but designs and makes it there too with a great love of detail. As underwear is worn right next to the skin, it needs to look good and feel good. Carefully chosen materials are an important factor. And appearance is not enough – wherever possible the fabric should meet the Oeko-Tex standard for textiles tested for harmful substances.

The fishbelly studio shop lets people look behind the scenes and witness the design and production process first hand. Personalised lingerie can be ordered, too. Customers can be very creative with the fabrics and ribbons they choose, resulting in some truly unique items. Apart from its own collection, fishbelly sells selected international designer brands as a perfect complement to the in-house range. Underwear, pyjamas – and in summer elegant bikinis and swimsuits.
